Risk Assessment of Energy Cooperation Between China and Central Asia

中国与中亚在政治、经济合作正向着更深层次进行,能源合作是中国与中亚国家重要的合作领域,但是,我们也要看到与中亚的能源合作正面临着一定的政治、经济风险,世界强国在中亚的能源博弈正在兴起,俄罗斯、美国等西方国家,以及土耳其都力图在中亚扩大自己的影响,迅速占领中亚的能源市场。中国目前需要正视与中亚合作的风险,研究其规避风险的对策、措施,使中国与中亚的能源合作能在更深、更广的领域进行。

China and Central Asia are experiencing increasingly deep political and economic cooperation,with energy cooperation being an important area. Nevertheless,the energy cooperation with Central Asia is obviously facing political and economic risks because the powers of the world are on the rise in the energy game in Central Asia; Western countries like Russia and the USA and Turkey are trying to expand their influence in Central Asia,rapidly occupying Central Asia's energy market. China now needs to look up to the risks in its cooperation with Central Asian countries,to research the measures of risk aversion with a view to developing a deeper,wider cooperation with Central Asia in this regard.
