摘要 杨守仁教授(1912~2005),著名农业教育家、水稻学家,国务院第一届学位委员会农学学科评议组成员、首批博士研究生导师,农业部科技委员会委员,中国水稻所理事会理事,沈阳农业大学一级终身教授。杨守仁教授倾毕生精力于稻作理论与栽培育种实践,成为籼粳稻杂交、水稻理想株型和超高产育种理论的开拓者和奠基人,实现了继矮化育种和杂交育种之后水稻生产潜力的第三次突破。杨守仁教授情系祖国、兴稻为民的科学志向,坚持真理、学而能思的科学方法,继承传统、开拓创新的科学精神,以及勤奋治学、殚精育人的师德情怀,成为学界尊敬的名师、良师和大家,也是农业科技工作者敬仰、爱戴和学习的科学家楷模。 Yang Shouren(1912-2005) was a famous agricultural educationalist and rice scientisit, once a member of the agronomical discipline appraisal group of the first academic degrees committee under the state council, one of the first batch of doctoral tutors of the state council,member of the science and technology Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, member of the Chinese rice council and the first grade tenure professor of Shenyang Agricultural University. Yang devoted all his energy to the theoretical research on rice and the practice of rice breeding, which made him the pioneer and founder of the theories on indica japonica hybridization,rice ideotype and super-high-yield-oriented rice breeding and make the third time breakthrough in rice production potential following the dwarf breeding and cross breeding.Yang loved his motherland, worked on rice research to improve people's living, sticked to truth, exceled at deeply thinking, both inherited fine scientific traditions and blazed new trails in a pioneering spirit, worked hard academically and committed all his efforts to education, which made him respected as a top teacher, mentor and master, and admired, loved and learned as a good example, by all people who are engaged in agricultural science and technology.
