The Mechanism Design of a College English Teaching Ecosystem

经济学中的平台生态圈是目前人类社会最有效的商业策略之一。大学英语引入平台生态圈理论,对提高大学英语教学质量具有较大的启发意义。结合平台生态圈的三边模式、网络效应以及归属感机制等核心理论,可以将大学英语教学生态圈视为由教师、大学生和高等学校共三个各自独立又相互作用的三边形成的一个共荣共生、动态平衡的生态系统,其具有的平等性、人性化与人文性是大学英语教学生态圈的主要特点。大学英语教学生态圈的结构设计也应从高等学校、教师和大学生三方面着手。

Economic platform ecosystem, asone of the most effective business strategies in present human society, is of much significance to improving the quality of college English teaching. Based on the core theories of the Three Sides(which constitute the platform ecosystem) mode, the Network effect and the Belonging Sense mechanism, a college English teaching ecosystem can be regarded as an ecological one, which consists of teachers, students and the school authorities, who are independent from one another and interact on each other like the three sides of a triangle and co-exist in a dynamic equilibrium. Equality, personalism and humanism feature in the college English teaching ecosystem.Also, the mechanism design of the college English teaching ecosystem should start in the respects of the school authorities, teachers and students.
