摘要
为了适应大学英语教学改革的需要,增强中国EFL(英语作为外语)学习者对英语的实际运用能力,从2013年12月段落翻译(汉译英)作为一种新题型出现在全国大学生英语四级(CET-4)考试中.因此翻译教学和测试成为我国大学英语教学的重要内容.本文以学生翻译的一些典型案例为依据分析总结了影响学生翻译等值效度的三大因素:文化因素、文本因素、以及译者自身因素.文章也据此研究结果对大学翻译教学和如何提高中国EFL学习者翻译准确性提出了针对性建议。
In order to meet the needs of College English Teaching Reform,strengthen the English practical ability of Chinese EFL learners,passage translation(from Chinese to English)has appeared in Chinese CET-4 examination since Dec.2013.Therefore,Translation Teaching and Testing has become more important. In this paper,the author analyzes and summarizes three factors which affect the quality of translation:cultural factor,literary forms and the factor related to the translator himself based on the typical examples taken from students 'translation exercise.The paper also puts forward suggestions about how to improve the translation accuracy of Chinese EFL learners.
