语篇分析在专业英语精读课中的应用

The Application of Discourse Analysis in English Intensive Reading Class for English Majors

外语学习的目的是使学习者能够用目的语来交流思想和获取信息,达到有效交际。在专业英语精读课教学中,传统的单纯教授语言知识的教学方法显然不利于这个目标的实现。教师应该运用语篇分析的方法引导学生从语篇的层面从整体上理解和把握语言,培养学生的逻辑思维能力、信息获取能力、促进语言知识向语言能力的转化,提高专业英语精读课的教学效果。

The purpose of foreign language learning is to enable the learners to exchange ideas and acquire information in the target language to achieve effective communication.In English Intensive Reading class for English majors,the traditional teaching approach which only focuses on the teaching of pure language knowledge fails to help the realization of this goal.The teachers should introduce the approach of discourse analysis to guide the students to understand and master the language from the perspective of discourse,which helps cultivate students 'logical thinking ability,information acquisition ability and promote the transformation of language ability from language knowledge.
