概念隐喻能力是语言理解、推理和运用能力,丰富的想象力和活跃的创新思维以及跨文化意识的综合体,是人类语言发展的重要方式。在大学英语教学过程当中,英美文学作品中蕴含大员的隐喻,因此在大学英语教学过程中了解和培养大学生的隐喻能力显得尤为重要。论文基于概念隐喻的基本理论从词汇、翻译、篇章和语法等方面阐述了概念隐喻理论对大学英语专业英美文学教学的影响。

Conceptual metaphor ability is an important way of the development of human language.It is a complex of language understanding,reasoning and application ability, rich imagination and active creative thinking and cross cultural consciousness.So in the process of College English teaching understanding and cultivation of metaphoric competence of college students is particularly important.
