Cornell University at its Sesquicentennial:A Strategic Plan 2010-2015 is an official document which is defined as an informative text and the major corresponding strategy applied in translating the English version is the communicative translation.Under the macro guidance of communicative translation theory,the author exemplifies and probes into the tactics applied in translating long sentences from the micro perspective.
