As one of the most important and difficult parts of College English teaching,Spoken English teaching is thriving hard to break out of its barriers,such as lack of teaching time,poor English proficiency of students,weakness in teaching facilities and faculties,etc.In this case,Micro-teaching mode brings many innovations to Spoken English teaching in the areas of teaching contents,teaching methods,learning mode and so on.And it also brings a significant improvement in teaching efficiency and effectiveness.This paper starts with the advantages and characteristics of micro-teaching,and then it studies the problems and solutions of the application of micro-teaching in college spoken English teaching.And it also analyzes the enormous change micro-teaching brings to college spoken English teaching.
