针对当前外语专业教学忽视传统文化教育这一现状,本文指出了中国传统文化在英语专业学生中的缺失程度和导致传统文化缺失的各种具体原因,还就保护和发展传统文化提出建设性的意见,旨在呼吁大家要认真对待强劲的西方文化,保护好自己优秀的传统文化,并将其发扬光大。

At present,traditional Chinese culture education is being neglected in the foreign language teaching.As for this situation,the thesis points out the losing degree of traditional Chinese culture among English majors and the concrete reasons accounting for its loss.In addition,the author puts forward constructive suggestions to protect and develop traditional culture,calling on every Chinese to reasonably treat the powerful western culture,so as to protect our traditional culture and widespread it as much as possible.
