语言是人类在长期的社会活动过程中形成的一种综合体。在英语语言的形成过程当中存在着强烈的性别歧视现象,这是在特定的历史背景下社会现象,关于英语语言中的性别歧视语的研究,一直受到语言学学者的关注。文章对英语语言的性别歧视现象及其历史背景及和根源进行了尝试剖析,要消除英语语言中的性别歧视语,需要改变人们的观念以及社会地位,只有从社会地位上实现男女平等,才能真正的完全消除英语语言的性别歧视现象。

Language is a synthesis of human beings in the process of long-term social activities.In the process of the formation of English language,there is a strong gender discrimination,which is a social phenomenon in the specific historical context,the study of gender discrimination in English language,has been the focus of linguists.This paper attempts to analyze the gender discrimination in English language and its historical background,and to eliminate the gender discrimination in English language,and to change people's ideas and social status.
