现藏于洛阳龙门博物馆的北宋李昌世及夫人尹氏墓志,详细记载了北宋中下级武官李昌世的世系、仕宦经历、姻亲交游及子嗣情况。李昌世出生于北宋武将世家,家族恩荫及先祖的功绩不仅为李昌世提供了入仕及迁转之便,也对其官职的调遣产生了重要影响;李昌世以武臣之阶出任边郡知州并担任地方将官,反映了北宋中后期崇文抑武政策下宋廷对武臣的策略性安置。李昌世以国信副使的身份出使辽国并且不辱使命,补充了宋辽交聘的重要史料。李昌世的姻亲和交游网络反映了北宋后期一般武臣家族的社会地位和交往群体。李昌世家族的发展延续贯穿于北宋始终,其家族成员的仕宦、交游、姻亲网络等情况是北宋社会各阶层流动加剧以及崇文抑武政策下一般武将群体生活状况的缩影。

The Epitaphs of Li Changshi and his wife now collected in Luoyang Longmen Museum have detailed his family tree,official experience,marriage connection,friendship and his offspring information.Li was born in a military family,his ancestors’feats not only provided him with the opportunity of becoming an officer and promotion,but also had an important influence on his assignment.Li Changshi,as an officer,hold the posts of governor of a frontier prefecture and local general,and it reflected the strategy of officers being appointed following the policy of looking down upon soldiers in the middle and late Northern Song Dynasty.As a deputy ambassador,Li Changshi went to Liao and succeeded in carrying out his mission,and these facts are important historical material of Song-Liao relationship.His marriage connection and friendship network revealed the social status and circle of friends of normal military family.Li Changshi’s family was throughout the Northern Song Dynasty,and the family members’official experience,marriage connection and social communication actually were epitomes of the social conditions of officers when the social strata changed very fast and military officers were looked down upon.
