摘要
工程教育的重点是以需求为导向,从系统的角度锻炼学生解决工程实际问题的能力。以CDIO工程教育为理念,对西南交通大学信息技术类的'综合课程设计'进行改革,旨在提供给学生一次系统'构思、设计、实现、运作'的完整体验。根据该课程教学特点、存在的问题及人才培养需求,构建了跨专业教学模式和CDIO项目制教学组织架构,对教学组织方法、过程管理模式、课程评价指标等方面进行系统规划、设计、逐步推行、不断总结与优化,形成并践行了'专业交叉+项目制'的新型教学模式。实践表明,该教学模式激发了学生的学习兴趣,严格的过程管理保障了项目的进度和质量,学生的创新和实践能力得到了普遍提高,学生认可度较高。
Engineering education aims to help students become active designers,understand design requirements better,and be capable to execute real design projects.Based on CDIO engineering education model,comprehensive practice courses in the authors’university were redesigned and developed to provide students a complete'conceiving,designing,implementing,operating'learning experience.Under the consideration of the pedagogic characteristics,existing problems and cultivation demands,we constructed interdisciplinary teaching mode and CDIO project-based organizational structure;systematically designed teaching activities(e.g.,course curriculum,teaching methods,assessment metrics,etc.)and continuously improved.A novel teaching method with'inter-specialty,project-based'has been established.After six years of practice,it shows that the students’ability of innovation and practice was widely improved.Student self-report data indicate high satisfaction with their learning experiences.It is also expected that this study may offer a reference to other engineering education reform.
