摘要
玉石,本属没有生命的物质,但在莆田能工巧匠手里,竟是灵性勃发,魅力四射。莆田人与玉相伴,与石为伍。他们用玉石雕刻成活灵活现的艺术品,用玉石构筑起举世无双,辉煌灿烂、独具特色的石文化。石雕在莆田的发展可上溯到唐宋时期。唐朝时莆田就有很多寺庙,寺庙里有很多精致的石雕作品。尤其是建于五代末的枫亭塔斗山的天中万寿塔。
SinceⅠhave been engaged in white marble carving for more than 20 years,Ⅰhave fond feelings for our traditional culture and art.especially sculpts of Guanyin.But the carving needs consummate craft,art of using saber is bold and implicit,and the figure is voluptuously curved.So how to carry out the mutual complementarity and delicate touch are the keys of success or failure.
