黄君璧(1898～1991),原名允瑄,晚号君翁,本名韫之。广州南海县西樵人,是中国现代著名国画家、美术教育家。1927年任广州市立美术专科学校教务主任,1937年后历任国立中央大学艺术系教授,1949年迁居台湾后任台湾师范大学艺术系教授、主任。他是我国现代绘画史的重要人物,他的绘画经历了现代中国画的继承、演变、革新的过程;
Huang Junbi,a celebrated artist,is a participant and a witness of the historical changes of the traditional Chinese painting in the past century. He learnt from the artworks by the previous masters and broke away from the confinement from the reality.Since settled in Taiwan,he made combination between the traditional ink and the Taiwan landscape.
