张恒,1942年9月2日生于内蒙古包头。毕业于中央美院雕塑创作研究室,之后就读中国城雕研究生班,师承钱绍武先生。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国雕塑学会会员、中国工艺美术家学会会员、内蒙古美协理事、内蒙古雕塑学会理事长、内蒙古博物馆研究员、内蒙古城雕委副主任等。代表作品有《敕勒魂》、《成吉思汗》、《豪饮》、《王昭君》等。
Zhang Heng,born a native of Baotou,Inner-Mongolia in 1942,was majored from the sculpture workshop for creative studies of Central Academy of Fine Arts.After that following Mr.Qian Shaowu as his teacher he furthered his courses in the class for postgraduate study.Now he’s a member of China Artists Association,member of China Sculptors Association,council member of Inner Mongolian Artists Association and executive council of Inner Mongolian Sculptors Association and researcher of Inner Mongolian Museum, etc.His representative works include Spirit of Chile Song,Genghis Khan,Drinking Heavily and Wang Zhaojun and some other works. His biography and achievements have respectively been collected into such records as Celebrities of the World and Biographies of Famous Chinese Artists and some other books.
