摘要
'道法自然——大都会艺术博物馆精品展'汇集了美国纽约大都会艺术博物馆的众多艺术名作和精品,于2013年2月1日至5月9日与中国观众见面。这是中国国家博物馆在2013年推出的第一个大型的国际交流展,也是奉献给新春的一道艺术盛宴。展览将探讨一个宏大而普通的主题:古往今来的西方画家、雕塑家和装饰艺术家们如何展现他们心中的自然。
The exhibition Earth, Sea and Sky: Nature in Western Art—Masterpieces from The Metropolitan Museum of Art is on show from Feb.1 to May 9, 2013 at National Museum of China. Total 127 works of art includes paintings, sculpture and a broad range of decorative arts from four millennia, which are separated into 7 sections: Nature Idealized, The Human Presence in Nature, Animals, Flowers and Gardens, Nature in the Camera Lens, Earth and Sky and Watery World. The exhibition shows the different hierarchies and appearances of nature, and expresses the love and thought of human on nature.
