摘要
最近读陈金章先生的山水画有个突出的体会,那就是他的艺术创作包含了一切艺术之所以能感动人的两个基本要素:劳动的难度和发自心灵的创造智慧。艺术创作是人的手、脑和心合成的产物,其技艺部分,如国画的笔墨功力、油画的造型和色彩表现力等,不是一蹴而就的,要靠长期的反复实践方能获得,要靠千锤百炼方能完善,这来不得半点取巧。在这个意义上,说画家是'手艺人',一点也不过分。但是,光有手艺,仅凭劳动的难度与强度还不能造就好的艺术家,也不能创造杰出的绘画作品。因为艺术创造是艺术家心灵智慧的结晶,是艺术家观察体验生活、领悟艺术创造原理的产物,也是艺术家心智。
The artistic creation is an amalgam of hands, brain and heart which needs long-term practicing and much efforts. Some painters have outstanding techniques but lack the comprehension, while others have great thoughts but skills are very poor. These two kinds of artists are hard to success. Only those who have integrated the two important factors can gain achievements. Chen Jinzhang is such an artist who is not only a diligent practicer but also a good explorer on the creation of artworks. Chen has enriched the expressional languages of Linnan School and improved the Linnan landscape paintings to a new height.
