李奇茂教授是当代颇负盛名的中国画画家,他长期在台湾艺术院校执教并创作。他有深厚的文化修养、丰富的生活阅历和长期的艺术实践经验。他的水墨画扎根于民族传统,呼吸着时代的气息,表达对土地、对大众、对现实生活炽热的感情,有现代形式美感。他之所以钟情水墨画创作,是因为他认为水墨画是最通人性。
Professor Li Qimao is one of the most outstanding painters of traditional Chinese painting who has devoted himself to the education and creation of traditional painting for many decades. He has profound knowledge,rich experiences and long-termartistic practices, creating numerous excellen tartworks which are rooted in traditional culture and integrated with modern features. Appreciating his artworks, we can feel his great passion on life and arts.
