With the rapid development of science and technology, big data and innovation trend in the ifeld of Internet of things is obviously. Based on the main characteristics of big data and Internet of things, the relations between the big data and the Internet of things are analysed. To further explore the status and role of the Beidou satellite system and big data in the Internet of things which is still developing. In addition,the big data and the development of the Internet of things are discussed.
