Development of i1 Share Assisted Teaching for Chromatics Course

'色彩学'是印刷工程的专业基础课,一直受到高度重视。该课程涉及很多抽象概念,学生在理解上存在较大困难。i1 Share软件在颜色方面具有专业而独特的功能,本研究对该软件进行了应用开发,可以对色彩学中的众多抽象概念进行演示,如颜色属性的变化及比较、颜色在三维色空间的步进变化、多角度比较物体色和光源色、同色异谱、对应色等多种色貌现象。使用i1 Share软件将色彩学中的抽象概念视觉化,有助于学生理解,而且增加了课堂互动,使得课程教学变得更生动有趣,提升了学生的学习兴趣和整体学习成绩。

Chromatics course is an important basic course of printing engineering major and has been getting much attention.Chromatics has many abstract concepts that are difficult for students to understand.The software i1 Share has many professional functions.This study tried to develop the applications of the software to demonstrate abstract conceptions of chromatics.The applications include comparing the variations of lightness and chroma,changing a color in different color spaces step by step,comparing two object colors and two illuminant colors from multiple perspectives and demonstrate some color appearance phenomena such as metamerism and corresponding colors.These applications visualize the abstract conceptions of chromatics and make them be understood more easily.Otherwise,it makes the teaching more interesting and ultimately improves the teaching.
