Its texture is mainly shaped like columniation or granule and it contains more SiO 2, CaO and MgO. It has a large storage and better thermal property and lower I.L.. Diopside can be used to manufacture wall tiles and floor tiles. Especially those containing little Fe 2O 3 can be used to manufacture fine china, the products will cost lower and have better appearance, higher translucence, higher strength, higher thermal stability and some other excellent properties.
