Practice and Exploration of Downward Ventilation Technique

回采工作面下行通风在我国许多地方的不同条件下均有使用。采用下行通风在降尘、降温、防止上隅角瓦斯积聚和抑制采空区自燃火灾方面效果明显。但下行通风在发生火灾时往往会引起风流紊乱,容易造成风流逆转。

The stope downward ventilation technique has been used under different conditions in many places of our country. The effect of adopting the stope downward ventilation technique is obvious in aspects of dust reducing, temperature lowering, preventing gas accumulation in upper corners and controlling freely burning fire in work-out sections. However, when the fire happens, the downward ventilation can often cause the air disorder and air inversion easily.
