This paper briefly introduces the flat bit and pick-like bit of coal cutter's rolling barrel and their merits and demerits, analyses on the stresses of pick-like bit and its main technical features, and makes comparative analysis on the operating situations of coal cutter's cutting pan of the First Prison Coal Mine of Yangquan City before and after the transformation.
