藻类病毒研究40年

Research on algal virus in the last 40 years

综述了藻类病毒研究40年来的重要发现。前期研究着重于病毒的分离和生物学特性,20世纪80年代后一度研究陷于停顿,90年代发现蓝藻病毒在海洋中的重大生态意义后,近年来又掀起藻类病毒研究的热潮.我国在藻类病毒方面的探索研究还只是刚刚起步,由于水体的丰富多样,以及"水华"和"赤潮"的严重爆发,我国研究藻类病毒的前景十分广阔.

This article reviews the highlights in the study on algal virus in the last 40 years. In the early stage of the research history, most of the studies focused on the isolation and analysis of characteristics of algal viruses. After a long pause in 80's of the last century, this field became more and more active in last decade since the important role of cyanophage in marine ecosystem was discovered in 90's. In China the study of algal virus has just started. As the widespread eutrophication and frequent occurrence of HAB (Harmful Algal Bloom) in China, it is expected that the study of algal virus will attract more and more attention in our country in the near future.
