SIP是一种应用层控制信令协议 ,用于创建、修改和结束与一个或多个参与者的会话。它具有简单、扩展性、扩容性好等优点。本文基于SIP协议 ,提出了一个SIP服务器系统的设计与实现方案。通过本系统的使用可以避免计算机网络与电话网的重复建设 ,提高线路的利用效率 ,提供许多新颖的增值服务。

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is an application-layer control (signaling) protocol for creating, modifying and terminating sessions with one or more participants. This paper introduces this protocol and proposes an implementation of a SIP server.With this approach,the redundancy in constructing both computer networks and PSTNs can be avoided.The system can also make more efficient use of the bandwith and provide some novel value-added services that are very useful.
