WEP协议安全性测试与分析

A Testing and Analysis of the Protecting Ability of the WEP Protocol

作为IEEE802.11b协议的一部分,WEP协议被作为保障无线网络安全的一项重要措施而得到普遍应用,但是它的核心RC4算法被证明是有弱点的,在某些场合下会影响WEP协议的安全性。针对WEP协议对数据传输私密性的保障能力,笔者利用AirSnort软件对WEP协议做了一项测试,并对这项测试进行了描述和分析。

As a part of the IEEE802.11b standard,WEP protocol is widely used to protect the wireless network,but its core-RC4algorithm is suspected to be vulnerable in some conditions so the attackers can exploit it to break the WEP protocol.This article does a test to verify the weakness of WEP protocol and analyze s the reason.
