摘要
动机在第二外语习得理论中占有非常重要的一席之地。本文探讨了动机的分类、学生失去学习动机的原因,并且提出了一些激发学生动机的切实有效的教学手段和方法以促进学生第二外语的习得。这些方法和手段包括:帮助学生树立自信;激发和保持学生学习兴趣;教师课前充分准备;教师对学生的理解;小组活动和课外活动。
Motivation is a very powerful factor in second language acquisition. Lacking of interest and unsuccessful teaching methodology used in class make the students poorly motivated. So efficient ways should be employed in the teaching process to make the students willing to be involved in language learning.
