"猥"的本义是杂聚,杂聚义与猥的字义无关。大量文献语料证明猥有随便、苟且义,而猥在作谦敬辞时应分为两类,猥的词义系统呈现出连锁引申和辐射引申相结合的局面。
The original meaning of polysemant 猥 is cumulative, so the original meaning of 猥 is not refer to the character meaning of 猥.A lot of classic data proved that 猥 can mean the meaning of “casualy” and “casual”, and there is some difference in meaning when 猥 is took to show somebody’s courtesy.So there are chain extended meaning and radiate extended meaning in the system of polysemant 猥 together.
