On the basis of the emerging background of Freud's doctrine of psychoanalysis and the main contents of his Introductory Lectures on Psycho-Analysis, the essay applies the Marxist stand and method to the analysis of the academic worth and defect of Introductory lectures on psycho-analysis, affirms that the psychoanalysis is a great psychological break-through which explodes the myth of human being as pure rational creature and can complement the Marxism.
