An Interpretation of 'the Realistic Utopia'

Realistic Utopia', an important term that is used in Rawls' third masterpiece The Law of Peoples, is always misunderstood by some Chinese scholars. Such misunderstandings arise out of the ideological authorization of the so -called 'Scientific Socialism' in China as well as our literally partial explanation of 'utopia' itself. By observing the difference between 'existent' and 'realistic', it is concluded that 'Realistic Utopia' is the skeleton of Rawls' political ideas in his later life.
