Starting with The Daughter of the Army and The Sun over Sangna Highland , this paper attempts to trace the development of Han literature in Xinjiang, mapping out its development pedigree and demonstrating its unique regional features and human spirit connotation. The vigorously publicized pioneer consciousness and innovative spirit as well as the cultural description of primitive natural landscape in Han literature of Xinjiang enhances heroism and humanitarian spirit, reproducing and eulogizing the conquest of nature and self-transcendence by the Chinese people. Besides, by alerting people to the increasingly commercialized and decadent present society, these traits in Han literature of Xinjiang can, in one sense, offer a solution to the problem of man's ideological value trend in the current society.
