《儒林外史》是一部无情揭露和批判独裁专制的封建社会的巨著。文章通过作者所处的时代背景,用典型的实例探讨,分析英译时如何理解并处理作者所采用的艺术表现手段——春秋笔法。
The Scolars is a monumental masterpiece which ruthlessly exposes and criticizes the autocratic rule of the feudal cociety. This paper, based on the historical background of the author's day, uses typical examples to discuss how to comprehend and translate his implicative style-an unusual writing technique by the author.
