College Librarians Need Adjust Themselves to Network Environment

信息网络高速发展 ,高校图书馆已不能适应当今社会的要求。文章在分析高校图书馆员的综合业务能力和知识结构已不能适应现代化图书馆的基础上 ,结合现代化图书馆对馆员的要求 ,提出了如何使图书馆员适应网络环境成为复合型人才的措施 ,以满足学院教学改革、科研开发的需要。

College libraries have lagged behind in this information age where Internet is widely used. Modern college libraries require that librarians acquire new skills, renew their knowledge structure, and adjust themselves to t he network environment. Some measures are given as regards how the librarians at tain a comprehensive knowledge to meet the requirements of reform of teaching an d research.
