Prosthetic design and indication on separated posterior residual root

目的:通过对后牙分离残根的修复病例进行回顾和分析,寻求对这类残根进行固定修复的可能性。方法:收集了35例分离残根设计为固定修复的病例,对于修复体的使用情况进行了跟踪随访,结合典型病例对于这类牙体缺损的修复设计及适应证选择,进行分析总结。结果:分离牙根修复治疗经过2年以上的跟踪观察,发现基牙以及修复体情况基本满意。结论:分离残根可以通过合理的修复设计得以保留,可以选择的修复形式包括冠以及覆盖义齿。

Objective: In order to explore the preservation of separated posterior root, separated residual root caseswere retrospective analysis and the prosthetic design and their indications were summarized. Methods: 35 separatedresidual roots in 34 patients were treated with post and core crown or overdenture. Treatment were planed based on thestate of residual root, situation of missing teeth, requirements of patient and his economic state. Results: The separatedresidual root can be restored with prosthesis satisfied with proper prosthetic design. After 2 years of treatment, the prosthesisworks well and the patients were satisfied. Conclusion: Even separated root can be preserved after reasonable design andtreatment. The optional prosthetic design include post and core supported crown and overdenture.
