Modern Stylistics & Chinese Study for Foreigners

本文运用现代修辞学和应用语言学观点阐述了现代修辞学与对外汉语的几个重要问题,即充分认识现代修辞学及其发展现状,科学把握对外汉语与对外汉语教学,正确对待修辞学与对外汉语教学,说明作为第二语言或外语的对外汉语及其教学与修辞学有着千丝万缕的联系,言语表达的得体性要求已更加显示出两门学科之间的结合点,以培养交际能力为目的的对外汉语教学必须在重视语言规则的同时,强化语用规则的专门训练和培养。

Based on modern stylistics and applied linguistics, this paper discusses some important problems about modern stylistics and Chinese Study for Foreigners, i.e. full knowledge of modern stylistics and its present development, scientific understanding of Chinese Study and Teaching for Foreigners and correct treatment of stylistics and Chinese Teaching for Foreigners. It expounds that these exist countless ties between stylistics and Chinese Study for Foreigners and that the appropriate requirement for the speech expression shows more clearly the connecting point of the two studies. Therefore, Chinese Teaching for Foreigners, with training communication as its goal, must reinforce special training of pragmatic rules while still attaching importance to language rules.
