The author gave out an introduction to the breeding strategies and process of the high-yield corn hy-brid Ludan981,and used definite inflorescence and indefinite inflorescence of the ear to sort maize inbred lines and hybrids.The author pointed out that the definite inflorescence and high biological output of the signal plant and pop-ulation of a hybrid perform important roles in improving the yield of the hybrid.Also,we concluded a method which solved the problem between high yield and early mature of the hybrid.
