加速西部外语教育的均衡发展——提高外语教育层次和关注少数民族外语教育

本文以教育均衡发展理念分析西部地区外语教育非均衡发展的问题。目前西部外语教育层次偏低,既无博士点,硕士点也偏少;加之少数民族外语教学的汉族化处理,大大影响了西部外语人才的培养,不利于西部大开发。本文呼吁政府在这两个问题上给予政策倾斜,使西部外语教育得到均衡发展。

Based on the concept of the balanced educational development this paper deals with the problems of the unbalanced educational development in Western China. At present the level of the foregin language education is still low and there are not e-nough bases for the Master education, and even no base for the PHD education; what's more the foregin language education in minority areas has always been treated the same as that in Han areas. All this has greatly affected nurturing the qualified personnel and has been unfavorable for the development of the Western China as well. So this paper appeals to the government for giving more policy support to deal with the two problems mentioned above so as to promote the balanced foregin language educational development in Western China.
