摘要
2000年我国的恩格尔系数为46%,表明在这一项上我国人民生活已达到小康标准。于是,小康、恩格尔系数已成热门话题。笔者认为应从恩格尔系数的经济意义、计算及影响因素等方面进行冷思考,从而全面、科学、准确地认识这一指标。
The Engel s coefficient of our country in 2000 was 46%, indicating that our people s life in this aspect reached the well-off standards. Therefore, well-off, Engel s coefficient became a hot topic. The author of this paper argues we should consider calmly the economic significance, calculation, influential factors, etc. of Engel s coefficient in order to have a general, scientific and correct knowledge of the index.
