FU2-45S computerized fiat knitting machine is the new generation product made in Taiwan.Based on the introduction of technical data and structure,this paper analyzes the needle selection principle of this kind of machine.FU2-45S can produce many kinds of basic weft knitted structures and fancy stitches.In knitting the links-links structure,the loop transfer method is applied instead of using double ended needle.After installing a special device,this kind of machine can produce plated stitch,intarsia pattern,and so on.As examples,this paper explains the actual knitting methods for open and close structure,rib jacquard structure and baggy fabric.
