Based on rich practical experiences in operation of the Project of East-to-West Water Transfer in Beijing, the author analyzes and discusses the work of equipment management and maintenance, and puts forward some recommendations in this regard. The author also attempts to introduce the advanced theories and methods for equipment management and maintenance.
