随机分布粒子侧向散射光特性的实验研究 被引量:2

Experimental Study on Property of a Laser Radiation Side-Scattered by the Spherical Particles Distributed Randomly

摘要 两种不同直径 (0 .2 2 μm和 0 .4 94 μm)的粒子与过滤的蒸馏水制作不同体积分数的悬浮液作为散射介质。比较了微粒子群侧向散射光中垂直与水平两种偏振光的强度分布。实验结果表明 ,直径大的粒子其侧向散射光中水平方向线偏振强度远远小于直径小的粒子 ,而垂直方向线偏振强度却完全相反 。 The scattering medium consists of various volume fraction of particles which are either 0.22 μm or 0.494 μm in diameter and which are suspended in filtered distilled water. A comparision is made of the intensity distribution of the horizontally and vertically polarized radiation side-scattered from small particles. The experimental results indicate that the intensity of horizontal polarization for the small particles is much larger than that of the larger particles. This phenomenon is exactly the reverse of the vertical polarization cases.
