Psychology plays an important role in the process of exploring the mystery of the Mind. Cognitive psychology , focusing on the process and mechanism of human mental activity, has greatly promoted our understanding of the phenomena of the mind, and their intra- processes. In the present paper, the definition and history of cognitive psychology were introduced. Additionally,cognitive psychology's theory fundamentals,research approaches, and methods were elaborated. Finally, the future development of cognitive psychology and the research perspectives of the Mind were discussed.
