为了适应社会主义建设新时期对人才的新要求,高校德育内容必须与时俱进,着力改革。改革应本着促进人的品德提升和精神健全发展的目标,在"三个面向"教育方针和"三个代表"重要思想指导下,按照增强针对性、实效性和以人为本的要求,一方面对现行德育的主要内容审矫扬弃,一方面根据时代要求增加新内容,实现现实性与超越性的统一、道德价值的功利性与道义性的统一。

To conform to the requirement of the personnel at the new period of the socialist construction, the content of moral education must be changed and reformed. With the goal of enhancement of morality and healthy development of spirits and guided by the educational principles of the 'Three Facings' and 'Three Represents', the reform must be implemented in accordance with the requirement of expansibility in view of inspective ratification and developing the useful and discarding the useless on the one hand, and on the other hand, adding new contents as the requirements of the age, so as to 'realize the unity of feasibility and transcendency as well as the unity of utility and justice of moral values'.
