摘要
本文通过对隐喻认知理论的简要论述 ,结合英语词汇教学的特点 ,阐明了这一理论对于教学实践的指导作用 ,并提出了相关的几点教学启示 ,旨在加深对词汇的理解 ,提高其记忆效率 ,促进学习者对词汇的活学活用 。
By means of introducing Metaphor in terms of Cognitive Theory,this article is devoted to discussing the application of this theory for English vocabulary teaching.Suggestions are supplied to help learners comprehend and remember vocabulary efficiently,and to promote the ability to learn a foreign language to achieve proficiency.
