摘要
本文在对关联理论中有关话语关联、语境效果以及最佳关联原则进行评述的基础上,分析关联在英语教学中的作用,论述在英语教学中如何利用关联正确理解交际中的话语.
This essay is focused on the basic concepts of Relevance Theory: utterance relevance, contextual effects and optimal relevance,and at the same time discusses the application of the Relevance Theory to English teaching for Chinese students.
