英语关系分句的解读与翻译新探

本文作者从语法学、语义学、逻辑学和语用学视角入手 ,采用“静态—动态”的分析模式 ,对英语关系分句进行了研究 ,认为传统的语法书对英语定语从句的概念描述和汉译处理方法 ,因过于注重结构形式而违背了语法属性 ,给英语关系分句的解读与翻译造成了一定的误导。本文就英语关系分句的定义、分类鉴别标准和语义逻辑功能 ,以及汉译技巧进行了新的探讨 。

Starting from the viewpoints of grammar,semantics,logics and pragmatics,the author of this paper carries out a multi_dimensional study of English relative clauses by resorting to a 'static_dynamic' analysis model,and points out some misleading concepts concerning the description and translation of English relative clauses given by certain traditional grammar books for unduly stressing the structural forms and violating the grammar attributes.The author also makes new suggestions on definitions,identifications as well as semantic_logic functions and Chinese translation skills,so as to gain a new insight into comprehension and view of English grammar study.
