摘要
随着高等教育的改革,部分高校教师已开始尝试借鉴西方各种新的语言教学理论和教学方法。但达到的教学效果远低于人们的预期。这主要是因为很多教师对中国和西方高校外语专业师生之间的定位关系以及形成这种定位关系的历史文化原因缺乏认识和了解。本文以中关高校外语专业为研究对象。通过课程大纲设计、课堂教学、教学评估等几个环节对中关高校外语专业师生关系的定位进行比较研究,指出教师在吸收借鉴西方的语言教学理论和外语教学方法时应考虑到教学方法的改进决不单纯是一种技术的改进与提高,还应该包含师生之间定位关系的转变。
With the reform of the high education system, some university teachers start to apply various latest Western language teaching theories and methods to their own teaching activities. However, due to the lack of thorough understanding of the discrepancies between the Western and Chinese teacher student orientational relationship and the cultural backgrounds on which it bases, the outcome has proved far from satisfaction. This paper conducts a comparative study of the teacher student orientational relationship in Foreign Languages Departments in American and Chinese universities from three perspectives: syllabus design, classroom teaching and learning, teaching and learning evaluation, pointing out that the improvement of teaching methods embodies not only the innovation of techniques but the change of teacher-student orientational relationship as well.
