摘要
本文根据解构主义的翻译理论探讨了翻译文学中文化误读的必然性 ,揭示了文化误读的可能性 ,即在伦理文化、政治文化和美学意象方面的误读 ,最后提出文化误读的积极作用 ,文化误读促进了语言文学的新发现 ,有助于文学样式的创新和陌生化 ,推动了文化“原型”的生产和传播 ,促进了文化的通约性。
Finding inspirations from the Derridean theory of deconstruction, this paper explores the inevitability of cultural misreading in literary translation. While pinpointing three areas where the said misconstrual is most likely to take place - moral norms, political culture and iconic images, it nevertheless maintains that the effects of the misreading are not all negative. Among the positive contributions to the target language are speeding up language's and literature's self-renewal, facilitating defamiliarization of literary patterns and cultural stereotypes, and promoting intercultural dialogues.
