摘要
我国目前的汉英新词翻译可谓成绩不小,问题不少。理解与表达素来是翻译中的两个主要环节,本文即从该二环节入手,对汉英新词翻译中经常出现的问题进行较深入的讨论,文章同时对汉英新词翻译的主要特点进行分析。
This paper examines the Englishing of Chinese neologisms, focusing on two key aspects of the translation process -understanding and expression. It explores in particular common problems frequently occuring in the translation of Chinese neologisms into English, as well as providing a general account of the features of such translation.
