丝裂霉素C在翼状胬肉手术中应用的临床研究

Clinical Study of Application of Mitomycin C in the Operation for Pterygium

目的:探讨丝裂霉素C(MMC)在预防翼状胬肉术后复发与术中应用的关系。方法:治疗组30例37眼翼状胬肉患者采用0.5mg/ml MMC一次性局部敷贴(≤5min),对照组30例38眼翼状胬肉患者不用MMC。结果:随访6mo～24mo(平均16.5mo),治疗组治愈29例36眼,无效1例1眼,复发率为3.3％,治愈率为96.7％;对照组治愈22例30眼,复发8例8眼,复发率为26.67％,治愈率为73.33％。经统计学处理,X^2=4.71,P<0.05。两组比较,术后复发率差异具有显著性意义。结论:0.5mg/mlMMC一次性局部敷贴在翼状胬肉手术中的应用较传统的治疗方法明显降低术后复发率,且避免了对角膜和其他正常眼组织的损伤,具有重要的临床实用价值。

OBJECTIVE: To study the intraoperative use of mitomycin in preventing postoperative recurrence of ptery- gium. METHODS: In treatment group, a single dose of 0.5mg/ml mitomycin(MMC) was topically applied to 37 eyes of 30 cases (≤5min) during operation and in control group, 38 eyes of 30 cases received no MMC .RESULTS: By 6～24 month follow -- up (average 16.5months), in treatment group, 29 cases(36 eyes) were cured with recurrence in one case(one eye ), the recurrent rate was 3.3% and curative rate was 96.7%; in control group, 22 cases(30 eyes) were cured with recurrence in 8 cases(8 eyes), the recurrent rate was 26.67% and curative rate was 73.33% .There was significant difference in postoperative recurrent rate between two groups(X^2=4.71, P<0.05). CONCLUSION: In comparison with routine therapeutic method, the topical applica- tion of 0.5mg/ml MMC in operation for ptergium can obviously decrease the postoperative recurrent rate and avoid the damage to cornea and other normal tissues of eye.The method has practical applicability.
